Spaghetti & Meatballs

Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 32oz jar Rao’s pasta sauce, preferably Marinara, Tomato Basil, or Roasted Garlic but it’s up to you and what you like best
  • 1 bag Trader Joe’s frozen Party Meatballs
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • Grated parmesan cheese, for serving

Directions: In a large sauce pot or Dutch oven, add the frozen meatballs and the jar of pasta sauce. I always add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water to the sauce jar to shake around and get all of the sauce out of there. Stir everything to combine and turn the heat to medium. Once the sauce starts to simmer, lower the heat to the lowest setting and continue to let the meatballs and sauce come to temperature. I like to let mine simmer for at least an hour but you could do as few as 30 minutes if you’re in a hurry.

About 20 minutes before you’re ready to start eating dinner, put a pot of water on the stove to boil. Once the water has come to a boil, season with salt and add your pasta, cooking according to package directions. Once the noodles have finished cooking, drain them in a colander and add them directly to the pot and stir everything to combine, being really careful to not stir too aggressively and break up the meatballs.

Dish up and serve with parmesan cheese on top if desired!
